Brent and Tara
We're looking to adopt a baby
We are Brent & Tara, and we live in Maryland, where both of us have lived our entire lives. Thank you for reading our story and learning about why we are excited to be parents.
We both grew up in loving families and, as a result, we enjoy a happy, cooperative and fun marriage. Besides traveling, our favorite things to do together around the house are to cook, play games, discover a new tv series, and visit our friends and family.
We met during Tara’s first weekend at the University of Maryland, where mutual friends introduced us. As it turned out, we both grew up in the same town, attended the same high school, and shared many mutual acquaintances, despite being three years apart in age. During our time in College Park, one of our favorite things to do was head into Washington, DC to visit museums, something we continue to enjoy during our travels to many places.
After dating for about six years, we got engaged while on vacation in Orlando, and we were married in Baltimore in 2013. We do not yet have any children, but we are excited to welcome a child into our home and our family through adoption.
